Aaliah Whitlock lives in a post apocalyptic world where she must fight to stay alive in a war ridden country. Her two biggest fears are the other survivors who continue to pick sides and the lack of medication for her twin brother's diabetes. Selena Revera is a Afro-Latina intergalactic astronaut. She has been traveling between planets in search of plant-life and technology to help save her sick lover who is in cryo-sleep. Medium: Adobe Photoshop and Procreate
Taytu (Tie-too) is a warrior based in Ethiopian culture, daughter of her tribe's most respected elder and leader of their army. She leads her comrades in a war against an oppressive regime that takes advantage of its people. With her companion leopard Gesela (Guh-sell-ah), who she raised from a cub, they fight to liberate their people. For each battle won, she earns a new cornrow and cowrie shell as a symbol of progress towards liberation. Weapons of choice: Spear and dual Chakrams Armor: Bones of Tartu’s first kill, clothing embroidered with traditional tribal pattern. Medium: Adobe Photoshop and Procreate
Zandra is a non-binary pirate captain, sailing the seas in search of rare finds and doing peculiar jobs. All of their weapons are made from the bones of sea creatures, oddly shaped sharks being their favorite. They follow a code of honor resembling that of Robin Hood , but always make sure to treat themselves first. The lack of a right leg definitely doesn't get in the way of their hunger for new treasures. Weapons of choice: Crossbow made from the bones of a hammerhead shark, sword made from the bones of a chainsaw Shark. Medium: Adobe Photoshop and Procreate
Oakoona Sage is a combat medic from a nation of nature fairies who live in an elaborate collection of tree houses. She channels energy from the earth to heal her allies and communicate with the flora and fauna. She is especially well versed in herbology. Her self imposed isolation due to the constant inquiries on her Vitiligo left her plenty of time to study and master her skills. Armor: Wooden arm, shin and abdomen guards made with leather and the bark of oak trees. Shoulder pads made from medicinal herbs to be used alongside her magic. Cherri is a competitive roller derby skater, but her favorite pastime is choreographing dance routines on skates with her derby team. Her signature afro puff hairstyle earned her the nickname Cherri, which she fully embodies. Medium: Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
Tapani Colveer is a nonchalant south Asian man from a small gloomy nation. To entertain himself, he uses his pyrokinetic ability to cause mischief until he’s drafted to serve his community. He struggles with taking orders and often challenges authority Weapon of choice: Fire, which he can create from his own body Costume: A tailored suit, helps to deter any suspicions people may have and makes it easier to go about his mischief Medium: Adobe Photoshop and Procreate
Ardel is a large Scandinavian man who leads a simple life as a hunter, bringing game for the people of his home town. Generally a happy teddy bear unless the people he loves are threatened, then the hunter really comes out. Weapon of choice: Long shaft ax Costume: Steel plated shoulder, knee and chest armor adorned with the sun (the symbol of his country) and lions (a symbol of his strength). Leather abdomen and leg guards. Medium: Adobe Photoshop and Procreate
Koda is the new young chief of an arctic tribe of legendary warriors. After the death of his father, the former chief, his people seek revenge and Koda is tasked with the choice of preserving his people or avenging his father. What remains unclear is the mystery behind his fathers untimely demise and if there is more to his death than just having fallen in battle. Weapon of choice: Dual sided spear with curved blades. Costume: A polar bear pelt, which is the symbol of the chief and belonged to his father. Leather armor for chester and right arm. Clothing and boots lined with thick wool to ensure warmth.
